Many people in the world today want to travel far and wide! This is the reason why many people book plain fairs to go to other countries. The reason why people travel is to see things that they cannot see in their own countries like rock formations, mountains, seas and many other things. In some cases you don’t have to go to another country to see something spectacular. Sometimes you can see in your own country all sorts of great things like castles or lakes or any other things that might be interesting to see. You can always visit museums to see that how the history of your country has been doing. You can go to other countries to see really interesting museums as well. You can go to Paris if you want to see some really interesting landmarks and really cool museums. You can go in central Europe and also in the eastern part if you want to admire some really great castles. But if you want to see a city that is near one of the greatest lakes on the planet then you should go to Thunder Bay, Ontario in Canada. This city will definitely leave a mark on you in the good way. You can visit all sorts of cool places in this city.
If you want to visit something in Thunder Bay then you should know that the city has lots of museums, art galleries, spas and even walking tours! These walking tours will be able to take through all sorts of places that are really cool in this city. Some of the most famous walking tours are actually through cemeteries! You will be able to take a tour of an hour and a half through the Riverside Cemetery. The walking distance is of about one kilometer and you will be able to see the tombstones and graves of some of the most famous people who have their origins in this city. You can also visit St. Patrick’s cemetery as well as the Mountain View one! If you will go to Thunder Bay then you will be able to see a giant! This giant is the mascot of the city and it lies just on the Sibley Peninsula. Well, actually, the peninsula is the giant itself. It is called the Sleeping Giant. This ‘giant’ is actually the peninsula and if you will have a panoramic view towards it you will see that it actually looks like a giant that is sleeping! Many people go to Thunder Bay to see this great rock formation that even has a park on it called the Sleeping Giant Provincial Park.
You will surely be able to see many more other things in Thunder Bay if you will manage to visit it! It is a really beautiful city.
