So we’re pretty excited around here at Amadeus Consulting, everything in our world in the next couple months is all about bikes!

Coming up next month in June is the annual Boulder Bike and Walk to Work Month. Traditionally, many Amadeus Consulting software application developers and business team members participate in the actual bike to work day.

This year we are even more excited to be sponsoring the event. This means we’ll be out and about and many of the events (last I counted roughly 30 of the events).There are so many events to choose: from free tune-up classes to happy hours and hikes all around Boulder, we know we’re going to be busy all month long.

Not only will we be biking with the thousands who participate, we’ll also be at many of the events giving away free goodie bags and raffling off an extra-special bike gear basket. Additionally, Boulder B-cycle launches on May 20th! As our software teams powered the technology behind B-cycle, we are stoked to see it roll out in ANOTHER new city, ours!

Check out some pictures of the custom software solution we created for B-cycle, the nation’s first large-scale and zero-waste bike-sharing program. Not only did we create the kiosk software for B-cycle, we also built the administration and user websites. More recently we even built them B-cycle Mobile Apps on the iPhone and Android. We’ve been working with B-cycle on this project for almost three years, and it has been amazing to see how it has taken off. Amadeus Consulting has a rich history with bikes, and we have even been named as a ‘Boulder Bike Friendly Company.’ What does this mean? This means that we do everything in our power to make biking to work simple and fun for our employees. How do we do this?
