Developed by the same company, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator have their own uses and unique tools. While Photoshop is mainly used by digital photographers and professionals alike to retouch and edit images, Illustrator is used to create vector-based drawing. It does not make one better than the other, but it is simply depending on your needs. Combining the two together will no doubt bring you unparalleled results.

To say that Adobe Photoshop is popular would be an extreme understatement. The program has become

synonymous with digital imaging. It is used to take any existing images and give it a more polished and professional look. Basically, your imagination is the only limit as to what you can achieve using Photoshop.

Use Photoshop to retouch your images to become even more stunning or create something entirely unique by using Illustrator. It is recommended to use both programs for all your image creations and digital photography needs.

It is not uncommon for designers to use Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator on the same project. For example, they will use Illustrator to draw the logo, as well as other vector graphics, while Photoshop will be used to apply special effect to the images.
