Safety and Protection

One of the most important benefits to any home, business or car is safety and protection.
Protection from spontaneous glass breakage
Tempered windows can be and often are subject to sudden failure, for no apparent reason. The cause is from contaminants embedded in the glass during manufacturing, which can cause this sudden explosive failure months or years later. Tinted window films are an ideal remedy to prevent the massive rain of glass pellets that would otherwise instantly fall from tempered glass breakage that could cause severe injuries.
Personal safety
When a glass pane breaks, it breaks into sharp shards that are dangerous to anyone in the vicinity. This is particularly hazardous if the window is broken by human impact for example in the event of a car crash. Tinted window film applied to any such glass pane would, on impact prevent hazardous large shards that could fatally injure. Instead, the glass would crack and shatter while remaining in one solid piece, held by the film.
Protection of glazing during earthquakes
In many parts of the world, earthquake activity is an ever-present fact of life. The movement of the ground during seismic activity causes buildings to sway, this in turn causes glass to break and fall out, endangering people below, and exposing a building's internal environment to weather damage. Tinted window films have proven themselves repeatedly in protecting people and property during earthquakes, by helping retain window glass in its frame, thus prevent injury by falling glass.
Increased protection from bomb and blast hazards
Explosions cause widespread damage, and in an urban environment, which often contains lots of glass in the form of buildings and so on, the risk of injury is increased. In the event of an explosion in an urban area, flying glass shards is often one of the biggest causes of injury and trauma. However, our specially designed films, when applied correctly, can contain these shards of glass, protecting the internal environment, and in some cases, retaining the pane of glass in the window frame.
Installing our tinted window films can protect more than just your windows. It can protect lives.
