Orlando is a beautiful and inexpensive holiday destination that attracts nearly 50 million people every year. There are a number of cheap and free attractions in Orlando which ensure you have a gala time spending your vacation in the city on a shoestring budget.
The "Disney Marketplace and Boardwalk" is a wonderful place where you can be a part of the world of Walt Disney without spending a lot of money like the other theme parks. Most of the time there are always festivities going on all around the place depending upon the season and you can surely find lots of free things to do there.
"Cornell Fine Arts Museum" is one of the most popular places to visit in Orlando and is free for students carrying a student identity proof and for others it requires a $5 fee. There are many famous paintings and other fine arts objects here that art critics, art lovers as well as tourists enjoy equally.
The "Eola Park Lake" is another place where you can enjoy concerts and plays at the amphitheater along with a number of other free attractions.
The "Snow Hill Mountain bike Trail" in the Econ State Forest is another place outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy. This snow hill trail has some sugar sand parts and river crossing by suspension bridges that ensures good outdoor fun.
The "Harry P. Leu Gardens" is also a wonderful place to visit with attractions like a garden for butterflies, a steam garden matching the tropical variety along with a house turned into a museum which was made during the 1880s. The park offers free admission on Mondays from 9am till the noon and on other days entry to the park costs as little as $7 dollars for adults and $2 for children. It is one of the best free attractions of Orlando and worth a visit.
"Keila Glassworks Gallery" is another place worthy of a visit in Orlando that showcases a variety of elegant hand made objects made of glass and it also includes a gallery for African art famous for the exclusive Zulu art objects on display.
Among the free activities in Orlando the "Funworld and Fleaworld" is a must visit as it is one of the biggest indoor flea market with more than 1700 vendors. The Funworld offers a number of free attractions like acrobatic, circus and magic shows and many other free things to do.
There are so many places to visit in Orlando and most of them are cheap and free. This place with so many free things to do surely has the potential to make your holiday a memorable one.
