Printers have always been wired and cabled with the computer so that all the documents which require printing can be transferred to the device. Such devices can only be cabled with a single computer for ever unless their programs have been installed in other computer systems as well. Such printers are only useful for those people who own the device because they are huge in size that they cannot be taken from one place to another and they cannot work on any computer which doesn’t have its program installed in its system.

Wireless printers work in a different manner, much similar as to what the name suggests. This device works without any particular cable or wire attached to the computer system. It only requires a wireless computer with a wireless network card which allows the system of the printer to connect to the computer for working. You will also need a router which would connect the transferring of documents from your computer to the printer to be photocopied into a hardcopy. Every company has their own unique and distinct software printers so make sure that your computer system has the same company’s printing software.

Even among the wireless printers are various different varieties which vary according to the needs and requirements of the user, because all the features cannot be placed in one single device. So for every feature there is a separate gadget or some gadgets have two to three features accompanied in them for the convenience of the user. Features include laser printers, which are either solid ink or inkless models. The solid ink devices have spots of ink which assemble to form words and phrases on the paper. On the other hand, inkless devices use rays to heat and burn the sections of the page in such a unique way that it appears as ink printed, but in actual that area is darkened with the heat of the rays. This is the reason inkless devices protrude out hot papers after being photocopied.

Wireless printers also have other models like typewriter models, which work exactly in the way typewriters do. As you type any word, the printer will photocopy it on the page, so you don’t have the time and space to correct your wordings and phrases. Dot and line printers are very interesting in their working because they operate in the way their name suggests. The dot printers form dots on the page which combine together to form words and sentences. The line printer printers a complete sentence, instead of photocopying a single word at a time. Pen based printers are also available in the wireless printer range but such devices are not really useful for customers, except for those who like unique gadgets in their surroundings. This device works with a pen which automatically moves on a piece of paper to write what the document says.

So you can find all these convenient features in cable less devices for printing and photocopying, so that whichever feature suits your requirements can come in handy to you.
