In simple terms, Landscape Photography is all about capturing the beauty of landforms and elements of nature with their vastness as well as microscopic dimensions. In its purest form, this genre of photography Australia seeks to capture natural landscapes in all their originality devoid of human elements or influences. It seeks to confine in the camera all that is natural. The Australian landscape photography is all about capturing this natural wealth that Australia is blessed with. However, the landscapes are not defined exclusively in terms of nature but these can also be defined more broadly in terms of urban, industrial, downtown and rural areas or landscapes as well. Clearly, these include the elements of human intervention as well. If you too wish to be good at landscape photography then you shall take note of some of these tips:

• Depth of field: Depth of field is something is which can be had with the right focus by setting a small aperture of the lens. Lesser is the aperture, more is the depth of the field. But if you keep reducing the same, then there will be lesser light coming to the sensors and this will mean that you have to compensate the same by increasing the ISO or lengthening the shutter speed. ISO refers to sensitivity of the sensor to the incoming light and with smaller aperture, ISO needs to be increased for getting better quality photos.

• Tripod use: A tripod is a stand that has three feet. The use of a tripod ensures that it is held still and does not move. This enables best landscape photography when the shutter speed needs to be lengthened and the camera is required to hold still for maximum exposure. The use of wired or wireless shutter release system is considered good for getting the best of landscape Sydney photos.

• Locating the focus: When it is only the natural panorama that is required to be captured, it is often not easy to define the focus of the same. If you do not select a good focal point, then the eyes of the onlookers will not be stable. They would not be able to set their eyes on the Sydney photos and appreciate their beauty. It is not necessary that the focal point shall be existent but it is important to know where it is placed.

• Foregrounds: It is quite common for people to focus more on backgrounds, but focusing on the foregrounds can be immensely helpful as well. With focus on foreground, you create depth in your photos.

• Skies: Skies lend a good impact on the photo image. These magnify the beauty of your photo shoot. You have seen Art Australia wherein the artists make use of the skies to bring out more focus on the other elements

• Weather: Capturing the landscape in times of changing weather reflects how the moods of the landscapes change with weather. This weather variable beauty of nature is captured in Sydney photos of the different photographers.
