Laptop was a brilliant concept which added mobility and ease in our lives. But there is just one problem of this fantastic machine, which being its acute sensitivity and care involved in handling laptops.   1. Damage - Liquid spill over the laptop

Solution – One of the most common laptop damage is the liquid spill. If it does happen quickly detach the power cable and shut the laptop down. Tilt the laptop upside down; this will remove the liquid from laptop to some extent. Then take lots of tissues or sponge and try to soak the liquid resident on the laptop. Solution – To effectively clean the laptop of the dust, it is important to be very careful. First detach the laptop of the power and then take a soft cloth, wipe off preliminary dust from the laptop. Then use a handy vacuum cleaner to extract the dust out of the laptop. If the dust clogs the exhaust fan or damages the hard drive then expert intervention is needed, which means laptop repair should be done.

  1. Damage - Stains on LCD Screen and other LCD damages

Solution- To remove the LCD stains from the screen of the laptop one needs to take a light chemical solution and a soft cloth. Then gently rub the screen with cloth containing solution, but it should be kept in mind to sprinkle the solution on the cloth and not directly on the LCD screen. In case of LCD damages that cannot be handled, one should go in for the laptop screen repair.

  1. Damage- Scratches on the laptop

Solution - This problem can be avoided by keeping laptop on smooth surfaces. It is very important to note that the laptop bag or other protective encasing should be used while traveling or when the laptop is not in use. When working on laptop avoid keeping it on rough surface or handling it with negligence, it can lead to ugly scratches on the laptop. If notebook repair is needed to reimburse a big damage then it should be promptly done.

  1. Damage – Over heating in laptop

Solution- A specific solution to this problem is not available but one can start with cleaning the exhaust vent. The blockage of airflow through the exhaust vent is also one cause of overheating, that why laptop should be kept in elevated direction from time to time to let the cooling process take place comfortably. Chill pads and coolant mats can be used to cool the laptop. But if the problem causes damage in the internal circuit, then one should seek laptop repair.
