Representatives from the South America travel operator SouthAmerica.travel will be present at the World Travel Market in London this November 7-9, 2011. The World Travel Market takes place annually in London at the Customs Center at Excel, close to the London City Airport. It's a trade show that lasts 4 days, with the first 3 days open to travel professionals, and the final day open to the public. In 2010, over 47,000 travel professionals participated in the travel show.
Andreas Stuker, the Brazil Operations Manager at SouthAmerica.travel, has attended the World Travel Market London before, with a booth situated next to the big Brazilian stand. He's enjoyed meeting clients from all over the world at this travel show.
Andreas will be at a booth next to the big Brazilian stand for the first 3 days. He's hoping that this year's World Travel Market will be even more successful than previous years. He looks forward to networking with plenty of travel professionals from the UK or worldwide who are interested in selling luxury South America travel packages, which are SouthAmerica.travel's specialty.
Besides being a time for travel professionals to meet, network, and establish new relationships, the World Travel Market London is a reunion for travel professionals who already have been working together for years. Andreas says, "In the first place, the WTM is a meeting place for our current clients. It's always good to have a personal chat with our clients, because it gives us the chance to talk shop."
Many times, current clients only work with SouthAmerica.travel to sell a specific country, and aren't aware of the array of other countries and destinations that SouthAmerica.travel sells. "I'm not just there to represent Brazil," Andreas explains. "My goal is to try to convince people to work with us for all countries of South America. Usually in a personal conversation it's easier, because the personal trust is already there."
If you plan on attending the World Travel Market London 2011, please make sure to stop by the SouthAmerica.travel booth, located next to the big Brazilian stand, and say hello to Andreas.
