When you’re looking for something different for your children or perhaps for yourself and you want a change from the game consoles that everyone seems to be playing these days, then why not take a look at an Rc helicopter. You can get a huge variety of helicopters at some great prices and although they are not a regular gift, they are an awesome gift that just stands out from any other.
If you’re not one for going outside all the time then you can always have a look at the fantastic range of indoor Rc helicopters; that’s right, you can really get indoor Rc helicopters! These helicopters are not as tough and as versatile as the regular outdoor ones but it means that you or your kids won’t do as much damage to your helicopter and your home or wherever it is being flown!
There is for example the Blade Scout CX helicopter that only weighs 17 grams, which means it’s easier to fly than the heavier outdoor ones and while it’s still fast, it gives a smooth and controlled flight that you need while you’re indoors. This excellent remote controlled helicopter can be purchased for around £25, depending on where you buy it. This is a great Rc helicopter for those that are just ‘starting out’ and want to have the experience of flying and handling one.
For a great outdoor Rc helicopter I recommend the Blade 450 3D BNF Basic, even though there really is nothing ‘Basic’ about it. This helicopter is quite capable of doing some quite aggressive flying if you feel inclined to fly in a less than straight line, but at the same time it is elegant and very capable of handling precise moves because of its latest MEMS technology. Weighing less than 800 grams this incredible helicopter is great for those who are a little more experienced with flying but are not yet ready to progress any further. For around £250, the Blade 450 3D BNF Basic is a real bargain and is a pretty tough piece of machinery too.
If you’re looking for an Rc helicopter that is completely versatile, tough and able to handle anything you tell it to do then you should definitely take a look at the ND-YR7-K1004 Rave 90 ENV Electric Flybared. This beauty comes with a simple and elegant frame and a heavy duty tail system. You do need to build the helicopter but it’s fairly easy and won’t take you too long, particularly if you have building experience. Weighing at just over 4.7 kg, 1340 mm long and 475 mm high, this is a real beauty and for around $800, you will be getting an Rc helicopter that handles extremely well and can handle high end 3D or FAI performance.
Toy to You have a great collection of mens and kids toys including the popular indoor rc helicopter including the popular syma s107 model.
