Meet the new urban warrior Juke!
There’s a new Nissan on the block and it’s taking your country and the world by storm. The Nissan Juke is in a word, different. It’s bold, it’s tough and it’s got attitude that’s waiting to be unleashed onto the city streets of Cape Town, London, Tokyo and New York (to name but a few). Get into the driver’s seat and you’ll be moved by the energy of this urban night owl even before you’ve even hit the road.
Power to the people
The international Juke range comprises of four amazing models with two petrol powertrains and retails from a surprisingly competitive R198 000 in countries such as South Africa (sorry folks, no diesel engines currently available). The 5-speed manual Acenta comes equipped with a 1.6L engine offering 86kW of power and 158Nm of torque while the more powerful 1.6L 6-spd Tekna delivers an amazing 140kW and 240Nm. The Acenta Plus and Tekna models both offer three driver modes that have been developed to improve on the already mind blowing Nissan Juke driving experience. These are:
• Drive mode for your acceleration needs on the open road
• Sport mode for sharper steering response and improved response time
• Eco mode for a reduction in fuel consumption while using the air conditioning and other high power functions on offer with all Juke models
Good looks come naturally to the Juke
But what really makes this 5-door Compact Crossover stand out in a crowd is its groundbreaking interior and exterior design. Everything screams modern urban innovation. From its unique looking front headlights, boomerang style taillights, broad (yet sexy) wheel arches and hidden door handles on the outside to its motorbike fuel tank inspired (yes you read that right) centre console on the inside. Yes, the new Nissan Juke has it all and then some!
100% Nissan Safety
The all new Juke is also safe! This is thanks to Nissan’s pro-active Safety Shield concept, one of the most innovative and comprehensive motor safety systems in the world. With ABS, EBD, Brake Assist as well as driver, passenger, side and curtain airbags as standard specs, it’s no wonder the Juke was awarded the highest 5 Star Euro NCAP safety rating. Add some top model dependent features like 17" alloys, electric windows, Bluetooth® and cruise control, and you’ll find the Nissan Juke even harder to resist.
Yes the new Nissan Juke has everything, stylish good looks, a power to weight ratio that is world class and safety features that are second to none. So why not test drive the Nissan Juke at a Nissan dealership near you? Because you can rest assured that this urban animal is just waiting to tame your neighbourhood.
