Raging thunder is a gut-churning, tyre burning racing game that gives you control over the most extreme muscle cars in the world. It has three exciting game modes, where you can race against time, CPU controlled opponents, or against other players over the internet. Raging thunder features, state-of-the-art 3D graphics, internet cross-platform multiplayer racing, and customizable controls. It is based on tried and true arcade values, and trumps the limitations imposed by so called 'real world physics'. In the world of Raging thunder there are no such things as 'too narrow turns' or 'impossible overtakes'.
The three game modes available in Raging thunder are: Arcade, Time attacks and Championship. In Arcade mode, you have to race through all levels and reach checkpoints before time expires. In Time Attack mode you race for fastest time with any car on any unlocked track. In Championship mode you must race through all levels to finish the game. You can upgrade your car or even buy a new one between tracks. You can also select 'Quick race', where you can race instantly without selecting a car or profile.
Raging thunder has a simple user interface, and customizable controls. You can control the direction of your car and the speed, by simply swiping your finger across the screen. To accelerate your car, swipe your finger upwards, and to brake, swipe it downwards.
Boosting and tackling are two interesting features found in Raging thunder. Tap and hold the left side of the screen to use boost. Boost is active as long as you hold, or until it runs out. Follow close behind an opponent to fill up the tackle-bar. Once it is filled tap the right side of the screen and smash into them from behind to send them spinning.
You can race against other players connected to the same wireless router or against other players over the internet. Create a game room for others to join, or join a game room that already exists. There are also several collectibles found on the racing track, that will give you points or additional power. Ex: Collect the Lightning bolt, to fill up a portion of your boost bar. The dollar sign appears in championship mode, and gives you $50 each when collected. However, beware of the Laughing skull, as it drains a portion of your boost bar. If there is no boost left it makes your car slow to a crawl for a few seconds. Raging thunder has immersive gameplay mechanics, precise controls, and beautiful graphics that make this game challenging and fun. Strap yourself in and prepare for the most fast paced, exhilarating, hardcore racing experience of your life.
