Knowing how to create your own Disney calendar means that you can make a personalized gift for your children featuring their favorite Disney characters. Does your little girl love Snow White or your son like Lighting McQueen from the Cars films? You can easily create a calendar for them featuring these characters. You can even work together with them on this special project to produce something that will be close to their hearts. While these calendars may not be as fancy as the commercially-produced Disney calendars, your children will at least experience the satisfaction of creating something by themselves. There are a number of ways you can make a Disney calendar for your kids.
One method for creating your own Disney calendar is to use an online calendar maker that has a pre-programmed template. This is the easiest method since it only requires you to choose which images will appear on the calendar. Simply log on to the site and then visit the page containing the template. Once you've made your selection of images, you simply have to click on the print button to print out the end-result. It is so easy that children can do it on their own although it is advisable that you supervise them if they are still very young.
Another method, which is more complicated, is to use MS Publisher to make the calendar. To start, download some pictures of Disney characters that you can insert into the calendar, based on which are your child's favorite characters. Then open MS Publisher and choose Blank Page to create a new document and then choose calendar at the template prompt. Choose the calendar template that you want then click on it to load it. Then change the text to the month that you want to create. Use the Insert Photo option from the main menu to place the pictures of Disney characters onto the calendar page. You can also download free Disney fonts, featuring fonts inspired by various movies ranging from A Bug's Life and The Nightmare Before Christmas, to further embellish the calendar.
Each of these methods creates one calendar page at a time covering one month. Whichever method you use for how to create your own Disney calendar you will have to repeat the process for every month in the year and then bind them or put them in a folder to ensure that they stay together. You might even print them all to a PDF and send to your friends or send them to a color printer!
