Ever since the release of "The Secret" by Rhonda Bryne in 2006, much attention has been given to the law of attraction. This is a "like attracts like" rule. If you send out positive thoughts, you are sure to receive favorable results. On the hand, negative thinking lead to less desirable outcomes. The principle of attraction is rather simple and practical. People like the law of attraction because it offers tangible rewards. There are many universal laws that govern the mechanics of reality. These include the seven hermetic principles which:
-
The principle of mentalism
-
The principle of correspondence
-
The principle of vibration
-
The principle of polarity
-
The principle of rhythm
-
The principle of cause and effect
-
The principle of gender
These ancient laws were made popular in the previous century by an anonymous book entitled "The Kybalion." The principles are the underpinnings of modern metaphysics and establish a path to illumination. The last decade has seen a revival in the study of the principles. I am not going to delve into these laws here due to the amount of material that would need to be covered.
New laws are being invented which attempt to explain the metaphysical workings of universe. It’s probably safe to say that there are scores of universal laws that keep the physical and nonphysical environments intact. Many of these laws cannot be quantified. Universal laws do not need to be known to exercise their authority. Nor do we need to possess an understanding of them. For example, the law of love, being one of the most important principles, cannot be empirically justified, and yet it clearly exists. This principle is part of what I call the invisible or hidden universe.
The law of attraction not only explains how one can attain great wealth and luxuries, it also allows us to create reality through the thoughts we generate. The content of our mental images are called thought forms. These forms exist as detailed outlines of the images we hold of the world. In other words, there is a mental framework underlying everything that we perceive. Thought forms hold the material universe together with their electromagnetic qualities. Atoms stick to thoughts forms and fill them in. They become the familiar objects we know. They also create the situations we find ourselves in. I have dubbed this action "fulfillment."
During fulfillment, another action is taking place called the "vital essence entity infusion." This term refers to the process of giving life to thought forms now in the midst of becoming an independent life form. The vital essence or vital force is the living energy that animates the world. Humans wield this awesome power. By our nature, we are creative beings. Our minds are constantly generating thought. These mental transmissions are released into the universe where they are nurtured by universal laws such the principle of gender.
Be warned. All thought forms manifest somewhere in the infinite multiverse. Some manifest in this reality while others materialize on other planes. Our powerful minds affect worlds outside of our own. If you think negatively, your thoughts may influence the experience of beings in other realms. Since our consciousness simultaneously inhabits a myriad of dimensions, your thoughts may even have an affect on other parts of your personality. That’s a good reason to follow Norman Peale’s advice - think positively.
