It is not only about the names being unlike from the standard sizes but even the mattresses and beds which have the same name have measurements which are different in various countries. Some of these beds are manufactured with heavy material to add comfort to the one who is using them while the others are manufactured with some lighter material in order to keep the costs lower. This can lead to a big difference in the size of the bed and thus reduce the comfort level. These beds are usually given names in accordance with the size of mattress although the measurements in real might be different in terms of width and length. A normal King Size Bedroom Set is known by the name of Eastern King and is 4 inches wider. On the other hand, the California king is known by the name of Western king and is 4 inches longer.
If you compare the bedroom sets with the twin bed, you will find no difference in terms of sleeping space as it is exactly the same which makes it easier for 2 people to sleep in. Sometimes you will also find the size of 2 twin beds which are combined together equal to that of king sized one. If you don’t have the extra space for keeping 2 twin beds, you must purchase the king sized one to make it worth adjusting. You can also find the mattresses in extra long size and when you are purchasing the sheets you must be careful to choose the perfect size. You will find that the flat sheets will easily fit the size of the bed which is a king sized one. On the other hand, you will have to do a little bit of cutting if you are purchasing the fitted sheets. It is very important to measure the size of the bed before going to purchase the sheets to get an accurate one to avoid facing problems later. You will find the King Size Bedroom Sets much wider than those queens sized one. It is usually sold with a mattress and 2 boxes of spring which will allow you some comfort in terms of movement of the body. These beds are generally preferred by many people because of their high class features and the comfort they offer to the people. The people who are even taller can easily sleep without facing any issues regarding the comfort level.
