The popular and old-school Micro-USB cable, also known as the Samsung cable, is starting to loose it’s importance and usage. It served the people greatly, but technology moves on and so do people’s needs too. Nowadays, the majority of modern smartphones, except iPhones, are equipped together with the new Type-C USB cable. The main differences between the Micro-USB cable and the Type-C one are their pins and the inclusion of the two-fold rotational-symmetrical connector in the Type-C cables. This allows for greater efficiency, usage and better user experience.

One of the biggest advantages of the Type-C cable is the possibility to plug in smartphones in any way we want. Like the lightning cable of the iPhone, there is no side to the pin which makes us have less headache and more commodity when we plug in our phones. In addition, it uses the latest zippy speeds of the latest version of the USB protocol for transferring data, up to 10 Gigabits per second. This makes it very powerful, and it can provide up to 100 Watts of power.

Since a year, there is a high demand of Type-C cables from non-iPhone users. Phone accessories providers and retailers need to be ready if they want to be in touch and stay in the industry still. Micro-USB cables are a thing of the past and should not be considered. If you or someone you know sells phone accessories, they need to equip themselves with the Type-C cable type. There are a lot of online wholesale phone accessories providers where you may order these types of cables from, like OlegoXpress, Budget Electronics, CellularOutfitter, Cables on Sale, or other big wholesale USB Cable providers. The internet provides you with a lot of opportunities!

A lot of experts from IT community are talking now about the Type-C cable, it’s advantages and the new things it brings. But, despite all it’s good sides, one should be careful when buying one. There is one documented case, from a Googler named Benson Leung, whose expensive Chromebook Pixel was ruined by using the wrong type of cable that did not comply with USB Type-C standards. This happens when bad USB Type-C cables connect with computers and phones. If a phone is set for charging 3 amps, while a computer can only output 2 amps, than the phone will try to absorb too much power, which will be too much for the computer to handle with. This is why you should choose good and well-known USB cables and phone accessories retailers when it comes to purchase the Type-C cable.

As mentioned above, most modern smartphones are using the Typce-C cable now. Some of them are:
