We all face a variety of risks to our health as we go about our daily lives. Driving in our cars, flying in airplanes, engaging in recreational activities. Being exposed to environmental pollutants all pose varying degrees of risk. Some risks are simply unavoidable. Some we will choose to accept because doing otherwise would restrict our ability to live our lives the way we want. And some are risks we might decide to avoid if we had the opportunity to make informed choices. Indoor air pollution is one risk that we can do something about.
Over the last several years, a growing body of scientific evidence has revealed to us that the air within our homes and other buildings can be more seriously polluted than the outdoor air in even the largest and most industrialized cities in America. Other research indicates that people spend approximately 90 percent of their time indoors. Thus, for many people, the risks to health may be greater due to exposure to air pollution indoors than outdoors.
In addition, people who may be exposed to indoor air pollutants for the longest periods of time are often those most susceptible to the effects of indoor air pollution. Such groups include the young, the elderly, those with allergies, and the chronically ill, especially those suffering from respiratory or cardiovascular disease.
The question is, "what can be done?" I believe our lungs will forever be the final filter, so it would be to my benefit to clean the air in my home or place of business the best I possibly can prior to breathing it in.
Here at Comet Air Duct Cleaning, we have three very good systems that will greatly improve the quality of the air you breathe in your home.
1- installing a whole house air purifier is the best way to keep your air clean. The Reme Halo is a Lab tested and certified quality indoor air for Residential and Commercial Buildings such as Restaurants, Office buildings. The award-winning REME HALO® in-duct air purifier is the next generation of indoor air quality (IAQ) technology and capable of purifying every cubic inch of air that your heating and central air conditioning system reaches.

2- Heat and cooling air ducts cleaned
I would recommend having your air ducts cleaned at least once every 3 years. It's every home's Dirty Little Secret. The one thing that year after year will be overlooked in typical house cleaning and is the most disgusting.
You may wonder what all the dust that collects on your kitchen countertops, tables, TV, windowsills and on those picture frames that are so hard to get clean is made mostly from dead human skin cells. In other words, your house is filled with former bits of yourself along with everyone else who has lived in your home.
This then collects in your air ducts and is recycled every time your system runs. In one year, you'll shed more than 8 pounds (3.6 kilograms) of dead skin. It gets even grosser: Your house is also filled with trillions of microscopic life forms called dust mites that eat your old dead skin.
3- Disinfecting your air ducts.
We here at Comet Air Duct Cleaning use the new patent pending SaniJet system with the all-natural "Benfect" disinfectant that has proven to outperform everyone. We started out at $35/vent to disinfect vents. After doing a special offer of 1/2 off we generated many 5-star rating and reviews. With just the word of mouth, we received so much work we practically give it away today. It's been amazing, and so promising for those who suffer from allergies, asthma, or respiratory issues.
4- Change the air filter in your furnace as often as necessary. For most, it would be once a month when running the air handler.
These are 4 things you can do that will greatly improve the air quality in your home or place of business. It's all basic, and very beneficial and will add years to your life. Once you come to a point in your life you are having a difficult time breathing and getting enough oxygen, you may have already lost close to 80% of your lungs or heart ability to function as they should.
