1. BLOT

Coat the stain with baking soda or corn starch and let it sit for about 24 hours. Don’t worry about using too much. When you feel you waited long enough, just use the vacuum cleaner to remove the powder.

3. USE DISH SOAP

When dealing with a persistent stain, grease-fighting dish soap is your best friend. Mix a small amount of dish soap and warm water and apply the solution directly to the stain. Let it sit for a few minutes and then rub it with a utility brush or an old toothbrush. After that, just rinse the stain with clear water and blot the excess liquid. Simple as that!
