Investing in a dual-flush toilet can cut your toilet's water use by more than half. You can save a lot of water by using a full flush at roughly 5 litres or a half flush at 4 litres at most.
#5 Avoid using the pressure washer
Pressure washers are convenient, but they take a lot of water and should only be used on occasion, if at all. Instead, pull out your trusted watering can. Yes, it may take a bit more effort, but you will save hundreds of litres of water. If you must use a power washer, invest in a newer, more water-efficient one.
#6 Install a water-saving shower head.

Aerated shower heads function by mixing air with water, giving the sensation of a typical shower but with significant cost savings.
