These days a holiday is a necessity. It is good for your health to step away from the routine and go on a vacation. A safari holiday is a treat that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. One should aim to visit the special destinations on the African continent together with your loved ones. Everyone who has had the pleasure of going on an African safari agrees that it is a priceless, unforgettable experience. Traveling to Africa is similar to boarding a time machine and returning to an ancient time when wildlife dominated the earth. It is refreshing and impressive to leave the safety and convenience of modern-day life to step into the domain of the natural world on an authentic African safari. There are three special countries that guests should consider visiting if they ever have the fortune to go on an African safari. These two countries are South Africa and Zimbabwe. This article shall briefly describe these two countries and explain why guests are sure to enjoy a great holiday at each of these special places.
Zimbabwe is a special country that is also located in the Southern part of the African continent. It is a beautiful country that is home to diverse wildlife and spectacular scenic places. Visitors to the country are treated to world-class accommodation in Zimbabwe. The country is famous for being rich in abundant wildlife and natural resources such as gold and diamonds. This park is famous for having the largest concentration of elephants on the planet and a large population of other large predators such as lions. Just a short one hour's drive from Hwange National Park is the mighty Victoria Falls. This is true of the gems of Africa, and it is located in Zimbabwe along the Zambezi River. Victoria Falls is one of the seven wonders of the natural world. It is one of the most special destinations in Africa. What also makes this place extraordinary is the many activities that one can enjoy at this place. Guests can go on a safari cruise along the river where they are sure to see plenty of wildlife or they can enjoy other activities such as the helicopter tour of Victoria Falls.
South Africa is a large country on the Southern tip of the African continent. It is one of the wealthiest countries in the whole of the African continent. The country is famous all over the world because it is the home of icons such as Nelson Mandela. The man who served twenty-seven years in prison before becoming the nation's first democratically elected President and oversaw a period of great prosperity during his time in office. A safari holiday here is special because guests here get to experience abundant wildlife whilst being within a short distance from first-class modern amenities and facilities. For those who enjoy gambling and Casinos, places such as “Gold Reef City” and the “Emperor's Palace” are available. The main place where guests are sure to see the best of Africa’s wildlife is Kruger National Park. With an incredible variety of biospheres within this national park a safari never gets any better. An intricate and well-developed network of roads within this pristine wilderness allows travelers the unique opportunity of exploring the two point two million hectares either on guided safaris, self-driving or guided trails, or a four-by-four adventure.
In conclusion, travelers who are thinking of going on a vacation should consider going on luxury African safari holidays at one of the special destinations mentioned. South Africa and Zimbabwe are two countries where guests are sure to experience an authentic wildlife safari. Guests return home with a fresh perspective of nature and their own place within nature.
