It's the moment that everybody dreads... Your driving down long dark highway, alone in the middle of the night when all of a sudden your car starts to sputter.

"Maybe it's just a fluke, it will be all right" you think to yourself. Then just moments later you are parked along the shoulder of the highway.

The highway is deserted, you haven't seen an interstate exit in miles and it's pitch black except for your emergency lights flashing.

Now what?

If you have a cell phone as most people do, making the trip to the nearest gas station should not be necessary.

Let's assume your car is a New Hyundai that you purchased at a local Hyundai dealership. (Feel free to insert your own make here)

Most car manufacturers include a "Roadside Assistance" warranty with the new car. For instance the Roadside assistance from Hyundai is good for 5 years - Unlimited miles.

Roadside Assitance numbers are usually available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Below are the Roadside assistance numbers for every auto manufacturer in the USA. Find yours and write it down!

All these numbers use the '800' prefix, so dial '1-800' and the following numbers from any phone.

Finally, if your car DOES NOT have roadside assistance don't worry. You can use 411 service to contact your local highway patrol or police department and they should be able to assist you and give you further direction.
