Besides the club at which he DJs regularly, Richard gets regular invitations from visitors to perform at private dos and occasions where they need really good music. So while he does not earn anything from the club, the private invitations add up to a decent pocket money for our friend. Of course, he also utilizes his spare time at the computer shop for his music recording and prepare for the evening.

You can take the above as a perfect example of using one job to advertise your work, and use it to project your capabilities. Join the profession to have fun and earn decent cash at the same time. You can exploit your talent to make good music, using pre-recorded music, or simply record your own music and make it popular in your shows.
