With the rising crude prices and the cost of gas continuously soaring to new high it is really difficult to run a single car on gas. The crude price in International Market is $140 today and by the end of the year it is expected to touch $200 and under such situations it is necessary to look for other alternatives. The first question in my mind comes whether can I run my car on water mixed gas. Researchers all over the world are doing research on use of water as fuel and if a certain quantity of water is mixed with gas, it can be used as fuel in same engine and there will not be required any major modifications in engine, however a small add on equipment will be sufficient to cater the demand of new fuel.
The new research suggest that a small quantity of water if added to petrol, diesel, or gasoline in combinations with necessary additives so that the water is emulsified with the conventional fuel, will perfectly act as fuel for the car. The new fuel combinations (gas and water) will reduce the input cost on gas and at the same time it will also reduce the pollution and will protect our environment. As we all know, water can cause rust on the steel piping and other engine parts and therefore we need to add rust inhibitors or certain chemicals that reduces the phenomenon of rusting.
Actually the car, which runs on the water gas fuel, will enhance the vehicle performance and minimize carbon deposits in piston and skirts will reduce sludge and varnish formation and due to the presence of water, it will also reduce engine temperature. There are one more benefit of water gas based car that it will itself act as catalytic converter. There are numerous advantage of running car water, however the water and gas ratio should be optimized and you need to add the required chemicals known as additives so that water do not remain in free form so that the chances of rust are minimized. You should not do it yourself, however you should take the help of experts to run your car on water so that you get the monetary benefits in long run.
