The most crucial part of our style statement is our hair. It is closely related to our identity. And when our hair isn’t in good condition it can definitely mar our total appearance. Therefore, to have our hair healthy, and to show off a great look it is essential that we take proper care for our hair. Though it is not so simple to have a complete hair protection in this dynamic life that we are accustomed to live in. It is true that the busy schedule of our daily routine doesn’t allow us much time for proper hair care. Still as our hair is a very important part of our body in relation to our personality and appearance, we should at least manage some time out for taking some care for our hair.
Our hair, though made of dead cells, needs proper nutrition like the rest of the body needs. If proper nutrition is not supplied to the hair, it will grow dull and the healthy look would gradually vanish creating a lot many hair problems. Therefore, it is essential for us to provide proper nutrition to the hair. The most important ingredient of the hair is a special type of protein called keratin; this keratin is supplied to the hair along with other nutrients through the root of the hair under the scalp. The root of the hair, which lies under the scalp, is the only living part of the hair. And when the scalp gets damaged it has its direct effect on the hair resulting in hair fall and other such hair troubles. As the scalp is the base for the root of the hair, proper scalp protection is also essential for the proper health and growth of the hair.
To provide the essential nutrition to the hair it is necessary to have a healthy and balanced diet. And to maintain a properly balanced diet chart we need to know which nutritious elements are helpful for our hair. To deal with this the first thing that comes in our mind is that our hair is made of protein; therefore, protein should be supplied in ample amount to the hair. Another important nutrition that our hair needs is the proper supply of essential vitamins. Vitamins like A, B, C, D, and E are much helpful for our hair. But the thing that should be kept in mind is that to provide proper nutrition to the hair it is important to maintain the perfect balance in our diet. Proper balance means that the nutrition that we provide to our hair should be in the right proportion or else the outcome may be different. Nothing in excess is good for the health of the hair. For example we can look at vitamin A, this is an essential ingredient for the proper growth and health of our hair if taken in balanced proportion. But if taken in excess it will definitely result in hair problems, most likely hair fall. Therefore before preparing the diet chart it is recommended to consult your physician. Only he can suggest you the perfect chart needed for your hair.
