The Sony Ericsson C903 and the Sony Ericsson C901 are both very alike cell phones so the choice might come down which is the most fashionable. The C901 is a Cyber-shot 5-megapixel camera with Xenon Flash for better indoor photos. Likewise, the C903 is a good imaging phone, but like the C903 it lacks WiFi connectivity. Sony is a respected maker of cameras and this knowledge comes out in their camera phones. Both the C901 and C903 have auto focus, video stabilizer, image stabilizer, face detection, smile detection and digital zoom.

The C901 is square shaped chocolate weighing only 107 grams and is a pocket sized 4.13 x 1.77 x 0.51 inches. The battery is a Li-Polymer 950mAH which gives 9.5 hours of talk time and 430 hours or 18 days of stand-by time. The main displays resolution is 240 x 320 pixels. There is video and music player as well as an FM radio with RDS. An alarm, calendar, calculator, 'to-do' list, stopwatch, time and notes are built-in. Stereo Bluetooth 2.0 almost makes up for the lack of WiFi connectivity. Email is IMAP, POP3, SMTP and Microsoft Exchange capable. Internet access is via the NetFront Browser. Support for Geo-tagging of pictures, Google maps and YouTube upload function. The C901 comes in Noble Black, Sincere Silver and Precious Peach. This phone has Xenon flash.

Other than lacking the Xenon flash the C903 is much like the C901. A little smaller at 96.0 grams and 3.4 ounces it's also a bit shorter at 3.8 x 1.9 x 0.6 inches. TrackID helps a music enthusiast by identifying a song's title and artist then offering a link. Animated wallpaper looks best with this phone's pixel count. It has aGPS as with the C901 which not only makes getting lost much harder with the Google Maps or Wayfinder Navigator to help find the way, Geo tagging photos with info on where they're being taken is also possible. Walk Mate a step counter comes preloaded. Both phones share PlayNow which gives access to a virtual shop where a wide selection of music, ring tones, over 250 games, wallpaper and graphics. These phones are both adaptable for use with blogging with video recording, and video stabilizer.

The Sony Ericsson C903 Cybershot and the Sony Ericsson C901 are again very similar except in appearance. The C901 is a solid, classic looking cell no one would be surprised to see James Bond whip out of a dinner jacket pocket to make a top secret call with while the C903 is a bit more freewheeling. The C903 also has the benefit of being a slider so the keys are protected and there are fewer accidental calls made from deep inside the depths of a pocket or handbag. However, the biggest difference is the color. The C903 is available in Glamour Red, Lacquer Black and Techno White. While this might seem a small difference the Glamour Red, especially is an exciting stand out. The C903 works the same as the C901, but just edges its fellow Sony product out by nature of color appeal.
