If you watch television at all then you probably have seen an endless amount of commercials talking about how easy it is to make money online. The ads claim that the people in the commercial make certain amount of money a year by selling things online, viewers will need to find out if that is true.

eBay does gives you the power to generate extra income and also allows you to sell your old items that you no longer need around your house. However, in order to do that you will need to know how to list your items on eBay so that you can get the sale on the way. First, you will need to log onto the website and enter your eBay information. If you are not a registered user, then you will need to complete registration in order to use the website at all. This includes users that do not intend to sell and just wish to buy things on the website. Once you are registered and logged in you will need to click the Sell button at the top of the page. You will then be asked to create an auction that tells shoppers about your item. Here you will set a price and discuss the features of the item in such a way that someone will actually want to buy your item. Explain the benefits of the item and click the Proceed button. You will then be asked to enter a payment option, you can link your PayPal account to your eBay seller account, so that payments on the website will automatically be taken out of your account when they are due. This is the option I use because it is quickest and easiest method of selling items for me.

Once you do this you will be shown a screen that indicates the eBay fee for your listing. You will need to pay this even if your item does not sell. You should consider this before you list an item, because you will still need to pay the fee if your item is not sold on the website. Once you have progressed through this point you will see a final screen where you will need to accept the terms of the auction. Once you have done this auction will appear live. You will be sent a link and you can view the bids on your item. When the auction closes you will be sent an email and you can close the sale with the buyer. Also be advised that eBay will update their web pages of their website from time to time, and the process for selling may vary accordingly.
