Among the Samsung handset, Samsung B130 must be the ideal one for whose who want a simple and compact phone. You can match the phone with your personality. Some of the features of the B130 include voicemail, voice recorder, SMS, SOS Alert, Mobile Tracker, and over 40 poly ringtones as well as MP3 space so that you can personalize your phone with your own music and tastes.
Samsung B130 measures 104x43.5x16mm with candy bar design which is very compact. It also has a large keypad as a two toned color to suit your needs.
The display on the B130 is a huge 1.52 inches and will display your messages up to 8 lines. It is also suited for mobile games and graphics with its 65k color and 128x128 pixels. The internal display is a CSTN technology. The internal memory in this phone equals around 400kb and also comes with a speakerphone. The B130 runs a PNX4901 operating system which includes a WAR 2.0 web browser. With a standard Li-Ion 750 mAh battery, the B130 provides you up to 7 hours talk time and up to 250 hours standytime.
You have voicemail only on Samsug B130 and your phone book entries will be around 200 entries. For the SMS memory you can have 100 or more messages. For PC application sync you have PC Studio v3.2 for connection to any PC. You also have mobile tracker and a multiparty function on this particular phone. For call records you have a limit of 30 missed, 30 dialed and 30 received. This is not a really high tech telephone. It is more for someone who wants a simple and basiccell phone.
The B130 works very well in this regard. It is available in 4 colors such as grey, black, red and white. It does come with an organizer, stopwatch and T-9. If you do want a no frills cell phone, then this is the one for you. When you look at all the ratings for design, performance and features, most users will give it a 6 out of 10. It is a good phone for the money that you spend. With as small as a phone as this is, it is little wonder that more tech savvy people will turn up their nose at it.
It has very few things that will endear it to those that want the full Monty as far as radios, video and audio players. There is no GPS with this model or a camera. Samsung B130 is simple and basic without any frills at all. So if you want a technically advanced phone, the B130 is honestly not for you. But if you want a mobile phone that has the essentials, then this is the right one for you. Released in 2008, this one little phone is well worth it, especially if you don’t want to be distracted by all the bells and whistles.
For a no frills cell phone, Samsung B130 exceeds the need for a basic cell phone. This is one compact beauty that isn’t hard to use and isn’t so big that you will drop it trying to do multiple things. It fits beautifully in the palm of your hand and does exactly what a cell phone is to keep you connected. You actually won't miss the frills on this phone. While it does have some tech capacities, they are limited at best, and those that don’t want a techy cell phone will love this phone.
