Those who are looking to buy an LG KP100 need to think twice about this particular purchase as you will find this particular model is not compatible with the current 3G network that many mobile phones are connected to; nor will this model be able to access the newer 4G network when it comes online soon. This is not saying that this model of phone is useless or not worth the time to purchase; just that it is not able to keep up with the speed that the Internet and mobile networks are changing at.

If you are looking for a mobile phone that is pretty simple and does not have all of the bells and whistles that other models are known for, then the LG KP100 will suit you needs just fine. You are able to make and receive calls anywhere you go. You will also be able to store 20 of each of the following: Dialed, Received and Missed Calls and can also store up to 300 names and phone numbers in the LG KP100’s phonebook. We know that this is an entry-level device; and yet we also know that there are people that neither need nor want a mobile phone that is extremely complicated. As far as sending and receiving SMS Text Messages, LG KP100 is fully qualified for the job.

The LG KP100 misses a camera and doesn't support Bluetooth technology. It does have a USB port that will allow you to hook the phone up to your computer to upload things like pictures (to make into wallpaper) and song clips (as ringtones). You are able to access the Internet, yet there is not going to be a great deal that you will be able to do in terms of keeping up with some of the stuff that the 3G enabled mobile phones are capable of doing. If you are looking for a phone that will allow you to listen to the radio or to the many Internet Radio Stations, you are looking in the wrong direction in the LG KP100.

There is no doubt that the LG KP100 is at a reasonable price as you are looking for a mobile phone that is not that sophisticated or advanced. If you want games to keep you occupied for a few minutes while you are wanting for a call to come in or someone to get back to you, there are a few that are pre-installed into the phone. This simple phone is powered by a standard Lithium-Ion 900mAh battery which will provide you with upto 4.5h talk time and 400h standby time. The LG KP100 comes in four available colours: Red, Black, Blue and White.

If you are looking for GPS-enabled capabilities, you need to look elsewhere; this model simply does not have that available. There are a lot of people that depend upon GPS technology to help them get from place to place when they do not know where they are going. The problem here is that the LG KP100 was simply not equipped with enough speed and power to handle that type of application. You might want to think about getting a different type and model of mobile phone if you really need something that is faster and more powerful.
