Polished porcelain are available in an almost granite finish and the tile surface is unglazed. This types of porcelain are in fact the natural ones that underwent a through a thorough surface polishing process. They go through an extra manufacturing process to make them more resistant. The process of manufacture creates pores on the surface of the tiles. Therefore, it is necessary that an appropriate sealer when laying the grout work and tile setting. Inappropriate sealing would lead to the staining of the tiles.
