T-mobile fits into the MDA range of the Windows Mobile devices from HTC. HTC has tried to bring out an alternative of iPhone. This mobile has taken on from Touch Diamond from HTC. It is not the copy of Touch Diamond; there are some changes which make this phone different.
It is designed with flat grey back plate casing as against the diamond-cut fingerprint-magnet back casing in Touch Diamond. This t-mobile features HTC’s TouchFLO 3D but with a color change to suit the color scheme of this phone. T-mobile is white and pink livery. It has a T-Mobile Web ‘n’ Walk icon. You will be surprised by its design with round edges. And, it is 12 g lighter then the Diamond.
T-Mobile features a 2.8 inch VGA touchscreen which is quite shorter than the other mobile phones of this class. The screen has the impressive 640 x 480 resolution screen. Like in Touch Diamond, with this phone too, we had the usability issues. It is not always easy and intuitive to control the interface with finger sweeping. It features an accelerometer which automatically rotates the screen if you twist the position of the phone. Besides a touchscreen, there are number of hard keys to make the things easier for you if you find touching the screen hard. There is a stylus also to easily catch the things on the touchscreen.
Hardware features of this mobile phone are more or less same as the Touch Diamond. It features HSDPA, wireless connectivity, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth. It also features a 3.2 MP built-in camera but without any flash to assist it. It comes with 4 GB of storage to store images and music. But this phone lacks any external storage option via microSD. It also does not sport a 3.5mm jack.
The MDA Compact runs Windows Mobile 6.1 as in Diamond. HTC has provided excellent graphical user interface with 3D TouchFlo software. This HTC smartphone has an onscreen QWERTY keypad. There is carousal on the bottom of the screen which lets you scroll through the available applications quickly. You can access all the features of the phone like music player, picture viewer, browser, contact book or more through this carousal on screen. Like in any Blackberry mobile phone, you can set the email to automatically receive and send it. With Opera Mobile Browser on this phone, it is a great experience browsing on HSDPA and Wi-Fi.
T-mobile MDA compact lV is a quite a gorgeous and useful device. This phone is casual users and business users alike.
