It was reported that milk lives exactly and only for cow, not for human and it is even harmful for people, which perplexed most of people at that time. What’s wrong with this ancient beverage drunk by human beings for thousands of years? This problem did not be dealt with until an authoritative magazine of China put forward people should drink milk everyday in order to acquire nutrition needed by body.
People should drink milk everyday. The nutritive value in milk has been identified to be contributive to people’s health all over the world. Milk not only contains abundant protein of good quality and vitamin, but includes a quite high proportion of calcium which assures one of the best sources of natural nutriment. It has been proved by many official investigations that drinking a reasonable quantity of milk is helpful in safeguarding health. Based on this, the third Tuesday of May is set to be "national milk day".
Drink enough quantity of milk everyday. According to data on the result of nutrition investigation of the whole world, people need to build a habit of drinking milk from childhood and adolescence which effects in enriching the calcium and improving density of bone in order to defer speed of bone loss.
Drink milk in right ways. It has following seven parts:
Drink milk in any time of a day. It does not have obvious differences in when to drink milk everyday. You can do it completely according to your lifestyle and habit. Although a statement goes like "a cup of milk in evening contributes to a good sleep", evidence on it is still insufficient.
Drink milk of 250 to 500 milliliter everyday. Do not drink a quantity of more than 250 milliliter at a time. People who tend to be abdominal distension or diarrhea can drink it in two or more times.
Drink milk after every meal. Do not drink it on an empty stomach which is harmful for body and can not be absorbed at all. Having a piece of bread, cake or egg before this is recommended.
Drink milk of 20 to 30 degree Celsius. Do not drink it as soon as it is taken out from the refrigerator, which will lead to a discomfort in stomach and intestine. Neither boils it in high temperature, which destroys its nutritive elements.
Do not drink milk with tea. It is absolutely an unscientific way. Elements in tea obstruct absorption of calcium ion and eliminate intrinsic nutriments included in milk.
Do avoid milk to be shone by sunlight directly in which Vitamin B in milk will be destroyed soon. So deposit it in colored or lightproof container and put it into shady place.
Do not heat it with copper ware. I can not deny copper is still used in some high-end tableware such as copper heating cup and hot pot. However, I must admit copper will accelerate to destroy vitamin, especially during the heating process. Copper is catalytic to chemical actions in milk which results in a faster loss of nutriment.
Milk is beneficial undoubtedly. If you are really difficult to join its healthy line, you can consider some other accesses as well. Drink a little each time yet several times everyday or replace it with yoghurt, milk power free of lactose or soymilk. There is no doubt these replacements make nutritive value decline. So consider transforming some life habits from now on.
Healthy lifestyle is emphasized more and more nowadays. Why not start it with these small steps?
