Coffee shops are all about offering comfortable ambiance for enjoyable conversations with friends, browsing the web, passing couple of hours, taking pleasure in having a latte, and even conducting informal corporate meetings.
But, if your coffee shop is located in a posh location surrounded by the high class shops, and you don’t have too much to spend on getting it at par with standards of the surroundings, what should you do?
Well, a stylish menu cover, funky menu designs, and flashy interior décor (which doesn’t need to be expensive, for instance few inexpensive wall paintings) is all that you need!
Remember, café menus are going to be lying in the hands of the customers for quite sometime, unlike the restaurant menus which are used only once by the customers before placing the order (or twice at the most).
So, every time the customers look at the cover of your menu, they should feel like ordering something – that’s what you want, don’t you? And, you ask how can this dream be turned into reality?
The answer is relatively simple –display the best snacks and drinks on your menu cover, and bring them into the notice of your customers. This will ensure that they feel like trying one of these items every single time they look at the menu cover.
However, you must be careful enough NOT to put catchy pictures of drinks which turn out to be something else in reality. The customers who order anything looking at the front page picture will definitely anticipate something similar in reality. But, if what you show on the menu cover and what you serve your customers with, are two completely different things, which don’t look alike, your customers aren’t going to be too happy about it!
If you want to operate under limited budget it is quite reasonable to adopt the clear menu covers or even the vinyl menu covers, because nobody anticipates leather menu covers at a café.
More so, you can try out innovative ways to decorate your café menu covers to match the theme of your café. You may even try to include a lucky mascot on your menu cover for your café, in order to amuse your customers. While doing so, you may project the picture of a pastry, a drink, or the best snack available in your café, in the hands of the mascot. This will definitely promote the level of sales, as folks tend to get carried away with great pictures.
After all, most of the lifestyle magazines throughout the world run primarily on glamorous pictures of the hottest women, isn’t it? So, there’s nothing wrong in spicing up your café by putting some exquisite pictures on your menu cover and putting on some dashing wall paintings and art works in your café premises.
Café menu covers don’t require lot of investment, but they ought to be unique and catchy enough to compel the customers to try out new items on the menu; otherwise customers may not feel like re-visiting your café.
