A new gadget has arrived in the market and the mobile phone provider from which one is availing his/her services have that phone but with a different package. Now, what can be done in this case. A person can wait for his /her contract to end and then sign a totally new contract with the same provider. But that will lead to a situation which most of the people do not want and that is the change in our mobile phone number. There is an alternative by which one can avoid this situation and that is Upgrade Mobile Phone.

There are number of reasons for which a person does not want to change his/her number. The first and the most common reason is that a person changes his number then one has to go through the tedious process of distributing it to his near and dear ones or to professional contacts.

The second reason being that if a number has been reallocated to the new user, he /she may receive calls for the previous users as the relatives and friends of that user may give a buzz to the new user of that number. So, to prevent such confusion, some people want to retain their old number and want a phone upgradation to be done.

The mobile phone market is growing by leaps and bounds. The new technologies that are embedded in these advanced gizmos and their stylish persona makes them a magnet to attract people towards themselves. Now if someone is getting these beauties with their current network but with a new plan without the need of changing their number. This means that they can upgrade to a new phone without changing the number and the network. The plan does not plays a major part in this case as the upgrade to a new mobile phone can be done by entering into a new contract with the same plan and the number. The prerequisite condition for the phone upgrade process is that the mobile operator will remain the same. Normally, operators gives these new phones at a subsidized rates or for free. A person can also go for a change in plan as well. Due to tough competition, various operators are customizing their deals and plans in such a manner that they can lure more customers and increase their market base.

An upgradation is also possible when a person can change the contract with the same network provider and move to a new one after the plan has ended. As different plans offers various schemes and packages that are useful for a person. And as our needs keeps on changing from time to time, same is the case with the contract and the plan. But, it is not necessary to change the number each time one jumps to a new contract. A person can keep the number and still do the upgrade to a new plan if he doesn't want to hop to a new service provider. And if he changes the plan, a new mobile phone may also come along with it for free or in subsidized rates. So in this case, he will get a phone upgrade and a plan upgrade without changing his/her phone number. This can become a classic example of getting two things for the price of one.
