Every person has a dream of being an owner of a well-furnished and amazingly designed home. Some people do compromise with it while others do not want to take chance when it comes to adorning the interior and exterior of the house. Among those some gets pleasure when they go on a picnic or any adventurous tour while a large group of people get a sigh of relief when they get the chance to adorn and renovate their home. If you are one of them who have a passion to adorn their home, white tiles would be an ideal option for you. In earlier times, white tiles were used mainly in the bathroom. Today, with the introduction and wider use of higher end white tiles, they are also used in the living or dining room, as well as kitchen.
There are three prominent types of white tiles - marble and some other natural stones, ceramic/porcelain, and innovative products like White Crystal C1. The best types of white marble are top quality Thassos and Bianco Laza. Without any doubt, the presence of white marble in any space will give it luxurious and translucent look. The downside of white marble tiles is that their supply is limited, in particular in larger sizes, and the Bianco Laza quarry is now almost exhausted.
Other types of white marble come with veins. Most popular veiny white marble tiles are Calacatta, Statuario and Bianco Carrara.
Apart from marble, there is white travertine, which can be another luxurious option. White travertine tiles are available in different grades or qualities and the buyer is advised to see full size tiles before making a purchase. This advice holds for most types of natural stones, including marble.
White Ceramic Tiles or Porcelain Tiles are commonly used in budget interiors. Their supply is plentiful, which can be an advantage (easily acquired or replaced) or a disadvantage (if you are looking for more exclusive options). The maintenance of white ceramic tiles is typically easy and trouble-free.
White Crystal C1 technical glass stone is a luxurious and hard-wearing white material, and tiles, like with natural stones, are available in a polished or honed finish. Polished tiles are effectively zero maintenance. One needs to have a visit of the supplier to take advice while installing honed finished tiles in household and commercial projects.
