  1. First click Start, point to Settings and Printers.

  4. Click Add Port, then click Local Port, and click New Port.

  5. In your Port Name box, type your path to the printer in the following format, where your server is the name of your print server and the printer is the name of your printer:

\server\printer

  1. Lastly click OK, and click Close.
