RevABS is a new 90 day Ab solution workout program put out by Beachbody which just came out this past fall of 2009. Brett Hoebel is the creator of this great program, Brett is a much sought after fitness and nutrition expert; he is in fantastic shape and he really brings his energy out in this program. He gets you moving and help keeps you motivated.
This program combines a variety of Ab moves, strength training and cardio intervals to burn the fat off your ABS to reveal a great looking midsection (And with spring quickly approaching who doesn’t want this?).
Like many of the other workout programs that Beachbody has put out, this one is also a 90 day program. The program is split into two phases each being 45 days long and working out (6) times a week with one day off for rest. This number of workout days may seem like a lot to some of you but I assure you that these workouts are quick hitters; you’re in and out in approximately 30 to 40 minutes depending on which workout you are doing and this time even includes the warm-up and cool down! That’s less time than it takes to watch a TV show (one that you probably could care less about watching anyways!). So no excuses! This is a workout program that anyone can benefit from whether you are a beginner just starting out or you have been working out for years.
This workout program comes with the following:
1)The RevABS guide, which explains the program concept as well as terms, tips and includes a fit test.
2)The RevABS calendar to help you keep track of your workouts.
3)The RevABS nutrition guide which informs you on the correct way on how to eat to reveal your abs to show and to continue on with good eating habits to maintain your results. Also included in the nutrition guide book is a 14 day plan to help you accelerate your results.
4)The workouts, which I will explain below.
There are (8) disks total, (7) workout disks and (1) instructional disk showing you the correct way to "fire your abs" while doing these workouts that come with this program. (4) In which you will do the first (45) days to build your "fitness base" and the other (4) you will do in the last (45) days of the program to rev it up and maximize your results.
"The workouts – phase I"
Abcentrics – This is an instructional disk you watch first, it will explain to you how to correctly "fire your ABS". This disk will also show you Brett’s six pack moves that work your ABS from six different angles.
Fire up your ABS - Brett’s six pack moves, plus intervals of explosive cardio.
Power Intervals – This interval workout that combines cardio with lower body sculpting exercises design to blast the fat and burn calories.
Total Strength – This workout is geared towards getting you stronger while helping to boost your metabolism so your body keeps burning the fat all day long!
Mercy Abs – The name says it all!
"The workouts – phase II"
All the workouts in phase II are similar in concept but they are stepped up a notch since you were able to build your fitness foundation in phase I and your body is now ready to take on more challenging workouts. This is how you will slowly transform your body to get the results you are seeking. You need to constantly and consistently challenge your body with new and different workouts to keep your metabolism fired and keep the results coming!
