Sony Ericsson Satio has a 2G and 3 G network consisting of a GSM, HSDPA and weighs 126 grams and its dimensions include 112* 55* 33 mm. Its display features include a TFT touch screen with 16 M colors and along with it, Satio also offers a accelerometer sensor and proximity sensor with an auto turn off.
Other than display, this model also offers some of the highly interesting sound and memory features. Its sound includes vibration, downloadable, polyphonic, Mp 3, AAC and ringtones. Its memory has a phone book, consisting of unlimited entries and a photocall, detailed call records, micro SD card slot up to 32 GB.
The data of this phone has a GPRS along with EDGE, 3 G, WLAN, bluetooth, infrared port and a USB 2.0. GPRS and EDGE of Sony Ericsson satio is of class 10 and its 3G comprises of a HSDPA with 7.2 Mbps and HSUPA of 3.6 Mbps. Other than all these basic applications, this phone has some of the highly interactive features which includes its imaging, entertainment, and battery.This instrument possesses a 12 mega pixel camera along with an auto focus, xenon flash and video led flash. Its has a touch focus, geo – tagging and face and smile detection. For the purpose of entertainment the presence of an FM radio, downloadable games, organizer and gesture control can also be witnessed in this model. This instrument has a standard Li-po battery, which provides the standby time and talk time of 340 hours and 4 hours 50 minutes. It also has a A-GPS support with a Google maps in its Java application.
Although Sony Ericsson Satio has already become an audience favorite but still its market share is challenged by a product of this brand itself. This model is Sony Ericsson W995, which has been launched with an internal memory of 118 MB and card slot with a memory stick micro up to 8 GB. Along with it, this model also tends to offer the facility of phonebook and call records, which has a photocall and the capability to handle more than 30 received, missed and dialed calls.
What makes this model have an edge over other Ericsson model and other brands in the market is the presence of an excellent display. This display has a TFT screen with 256 K colors and has an approximate size of 240 * 320 pixels and an accelerometer sensor. This phone also offers a text messaging facilities like SMS, MMS, e-mail and IM and has a 8.1 mega pixel camera with an auto focus and led flash. Its imaging feature also includes a video call camera along with an image stabilizer. Along with a Radio it also has an I – built RDS with motion based games, which are also downloadable.
