There are basically 2 components to freestyling. You have the freestyling and there is rhyming. If you are just starting out, focus on freestyling.
Now as you start focusing on freestyling, the real key is to look into freestyling without rhyming. Just ignore rhyming. What this means is that you'll say whatever flows in your head.
You shouldn't be concerned to make mistakes. All people makes mistakes. The important thing is to continue going through if you make a mistake. You should not stop. Just keep on through the mistakes. Understand that most of the people will not recognize that you made the mistake. Just you will, so just keep on freestyling.
Make a point of freestyling for 15 mins day after day. Have 5 instrumental tunes going and then freestyle for 15 minutes. You should not think about what you say or what you sound like. Just run through your flowing.
Get any variety of book and begin rapping while reading it. This will help to concentrate on saying things so your mouth can go free once you freestyle. This will help you to enhance your rhythm and rhyming. You need to be aware of the rhythm of the beats also. You will learn how to use words so that they flow with the rhythm in spite that they don't have the same rhyming type of words.
Remember each of the exercises that you did using your senses. The reason for those routines was to come up with material to use while freestyling. Well, it is now time to use all that material. Start with one sense and start freestyling using just that one sense. If you practice this at home, then when you run out of stuff to say while you are actually rapping, you can use your senses wherever you are at and come up with something to rap about.
Bear in mind that as long as you remember to use each of your senses, you will definitely by no means run out of something to say. You will be able to always come up with some thing to rap about even if you feel like you have run out of materials, because you will usually have the ability to fall back on your senses.
