Have you heard the latest?! Miss Selfridge has collaborated with the American TV series Gossip Girl, and created a collection of eight dresses based on the fashion styles of the four female lead characters!

Gossip Girl characters Serena van der Woodsen, Blair Waldorf, Jenny Humphrey and Vanessa Abrams were the inspiration behind the designs of the new Gossip Girl dresses created by costume designer Eric Daman.

"We are delighted to be working with the Warner Bros. TV series, Gossip Girl. The dresses we’ve created based on the characters fit perfectly with our spring, summer 2010 range. Our customers love the show and the styles of the girls so the partnership is a perfect match," Yasmin Yusuf, Creative Director, Miss Selfridge.

Paul Bufton, General Manager, Warner Bros. Consumer Products UK commented, "Fashion is intrinsic to Gossip Girl and a key ingredient in the continued popularity of the series. Miss Selfridge has created a collection that is true to the ideals of the show and one that young women will aspire to own. We’re certain it will be a commercial success, and the beginning of a long-term relationship with the retailer."

Choose from a stunning leopard print boho maxi dress, a ruffle front shift dress with a floral skirt, a black body con bandage dress or a nude and black lace tutu-style dress to create the look of your favourite character, all without the Upper East Side price tag.

Whether you’re a socialite like Blair, a party girl like Serena, a rocker like Jenny or prefer the laid back vintage style of Vanessa there is a dress to suit you.

XOXO

Notes to editors:

In its three seasons, Gossip Girl has won a legion of devoted and fashion-forward fans. This drama's not only devilish — it's stylish. The series is told through the eyes of an all-knowing blogger — Gossip Girl — who, via constant, avidly read text messages, is determined to uncover and fuel every scandal possible on Manhattan's Upper East Side, where gossip rules, and affluent young people find themselves with the money, access and appetite to explore all the temptations New York City has to offer. Keeping track of the shifting friendships, jealousies and turmoil in this wealthy and complex world isn't easy; that's why there's Gossip Girl.

Gossip Girl stars Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, Taylor Momsen, Ed Westwick, Jessica Szohr with Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle. Based upon the best-selling series of young-adult novels by Cecily von Ziegesar, the series was developed by Josh Schwartz (Chuck, The O.C.) & Stephanie Savage (The O.C.), who serve as executive producers along with Leslie Morgenstein (The Vampire Diaries), Bob Levy (The Vampire Diaries) and John Stephens (The O.C., Gilmore Girls). Gossip Girl is produced by College Hill Pictures, Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios.

Gossip Girl Season 3 resumes on ITV2 from 10th March and new episodes from the Warner Bros. TV series will be broadcast every Wednesday at 9pm. Episodes will also be available to download digitally at iTunes and Blink box from 11th March and subsequently the day after each broadcast.

Gossip Girl seasons 1 and 2 are available on DVD from Warner Home Video.
