You always see the server bring out the champagne, or wine, and put it in one of these things when you want to keep your wine chilled. And after you have read this article, you will realize if they are still old school, or a stylish statement.
You've got the candles all lit, and table all set. All you need is for your loved ones to arrive. But wait. The wine, it's still warm. You can't have warm wine when they arrive. This is going to ruin everything.

Wait a second, you remember now, you got this as a gift, and thought it was silly, and would never ever use it.
You dig it out, wipe it down so it shines, stick some ice in it from your freezer, and stuff the wine in it. Shifting it around just a bit, and getting it at the right angle, just to make sure everything is perfect.
And at the night's end, this is what saved it, a chiller bucket. This one was stainless steel, sparkling in the candle lit room.
