You have many choices when it comes to driving traffic to your website. Blog messages, forum profiles, forums posts, YouTube videos, Pay-Per-Click advertising, organic searches and much more. The amount of options can be consuming to novice Internet marketers and website owners. You might be asking yourself, "Which one of these methods work?". They all work. The question that you should be asking yourself is "Which process stimulates the best potential?".
Most successful Internet companies usually distribute at least one article per week to a number of different article banks. Some businesses will distribute the same article that they used in their newsletter, but only after the letters have gone out to subscribers. Some business owners hire ghostwriters to write the articles for their article marketing and for their website content. This practice provides them with more time for other business activities. Ghostwriters have to capture the style and personality of the owner in their writing.
PageRank is a link analysis algorithm that assigns a numerical weighting to each element of a hyperlinked set of documents, such as the World Wide Web, with the purpose of "measuring" its relative importance within the set. The algorithm may be applied to any collection of entities with reciprocal quotations and references. PageRank is Google’s way of deciding a page’s importance. It matters because it is one of the factors that determines a page’s ranking in the search results. PageRank is irrelevant now. It doesn’t affect search engine results.
A good analogy for the PageRank algorithm is that each link is a vote for the target page. This link structure of the web is analyzed recursively, so that the value of each vote depends on the PageRank of the voting page, calculated from the votes in the previous iteration of PageRank.
Despite the fact that SEO experts constantly talk about the importance of content, most web masters ignore their advice to make sure their sites have quality content. It’s really crazy, particularly when you consider the fact that Google looks at content when determining pagerank. Thus, one of the greatest techniques toward improving pagerank is to simply make sure your site has quality content. This content should ALWAYS be relevant to the topic of the site. The content should not be too long (greater than 2500 words a page) or too short, should be informative and should include the right amount of keywords (a keyword density of 2-5%).
PageRank to determine the authority of any given website. PageRank often determines how high (or low) a website will rank in the Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs) for any given keyword.
Getting PR2 or high PR website links to your site is the fastest and easier way to get extremely increasing web site traffic to your site and to top the search engines. It is said that a one-way high Page rank link will grant your web site a Pagerank of minimum two points below that of the linking website. It means that a link from a PR10 site could help you to gain PR8 for your web site.
All of the major search engines’ algorithms do assess link popularity in one way or another. The two main types of links that seem best to boost your link popularity are links form relevant categories in big Internet directories and links from similar sites to your own that are focused on the same keyword phrases that your site is. These sites are considered to be high quality sites.
SEO experts are saying that it isn’t a reliable method to boost search engine positions. PageRank should be allowed to flow freely and the idea of manipulating PageRank should be low priority as the primary factors to any Search Engine Marketing Campaign should be: original high quality content, good site structure, high quality/relevant links – which will make search engine want to crawl and index a website for better positions.
