IPAD is the end of the world and the hype is fading from the news stream. It sells well, but it is overshadowed by the iPhone? Is it too expensive? As some may consider such issues, and they think it's about time to take a break and to make clear the situation. This fine elegant piece of technology we've seen nothing before, talking about planning and opportunities, it will change the way we work and enjoy a virtual reality? Is it the "magic and revolution," as Steve Jobs himself has said? Let's imagine the future.

After a short look at the technical details, we realize iPad is something between a netbook and a smart phone, but how? It's smaller than a netbook but has the same usability of an iPhone, as most Apple applications will work fine in this new environment. Touchpad seems to be the new thing, but working without an actual keyboard can become tricky and the use of a laptop in this sense is still more functional. It hasn't a camera or USB, so every file needs to be transfered through wi-fi, but this again shouldn't be a problem since there are many websites that offer free file storage. Many major news companies, such as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and the time has already released its own version for use in IPAD epub format, which is a fair competitor to ignite a fad. Analysts such as Ben Wood argue that this could lead to a rapid acceleration of the transition to digital distribution of multimedia content as it was in the iTunes Store. Only the test tells us that it is true.
