Why Make Your Own Information Report?
Creating your own report has many benefits since selling information products such as E-Books accounted for over 24% of all Internet sales this year, and it's a growing trend (And has been for the past 10 years. Many Internet Marketers make a generous living by selling information)!
Informational reports are almost 100% profit. Today, selling digital reports is a rewarding pursuit and will be for a quite some time to come. It is easy to do as long as you know where to go and what to do!
Information is the perfect product to sell for three reasons:

It can be immediately received.
But where do you start?
Information Is Easy To Produce
Whether you have personal experience on a subject, read a book on it and want to add your ideas and thoughts, did some research on the Internet on a topic, you can create an informational report that people will pay for.
Thankfully, due to the large scope of the Internet, it is very hard to come up with informational topics that are of no value to somebody.
Most of the time, it is just a question of organizing your thoughts and knowledge so that people can easily follow the report. Not sure where to start? Go to a bookstore, Amazon, Ebay, etc., and check out the best sellers. See what they talk about, how they sell the customer by talking about the problem, and then giving them the solution in easy and simple words that any customer can understand.
You might find it easier by coming up with a table of content before you start writing. Once you are satisfied with this, then go ahead and write up the outline for each chapter and then start writing it. With your thoughts organized, you will find writing this information report much easier and less time consuming.
However, if writing is not your strong point, then outsource. A quick Internet research will point you in the right direction.
One thing to keep in mind as you are creating your information report is to structure it so that follow-ups / upgrades / updates of it can be offered. Also remember that when it comes to selling information products online, timely, relevant, vital information is one thing that people eagerly (Hint: that's the keyword) take out their credit cards to buy. People will buy information on products that they can't get free and, the strange thing is, they will also buy information that is readily available on the Internet free of charge if it is packaged in a way that makes it easy to read and understand.
By simply making your own report or choosing a topic that people have questions about, doing some research to gather and compile as much information as possible. And setting it up online to sell you can build an online empire in a very short period of time.
Do keep in mind that because it is inexpensive to create the information product, it does not mean that the information itself is not very valuable. People buy - Hot to - books because they want it all in front of the in one nice, easy to understand and follow package.
That is the primary reason why information products sell so well.
You might ask, 'How come these information reports sell so well when they could go buy a glossy, shiny new book on the subject.' The customers who will come to your sales page know that they can get the product immediately. They do not have to shower, get dressed, get in the car, take a trip to the bookstore, deal with traffic, etc., to get the information. They do not even have to wait for the product to be shipped to them. They can get it right away (That is a key selling point for many people).
Make your own report to sell is half of the work. Next, you willl figure out a strategy that will best fit your capabilities so as to make some money off this product. Then, wash, rinse, repeat with a different info product and, who knows, pretty soon, you will be able to fire your boss!
