About me:

I grew up in Anguilla, a small island in the Caribbean. While growing up, I regularly saw wealthy tourists docking their expensive yachts on the harbors of the island and leisurely hanging out at the beach the whole day long. This set me thinking that while others toiled for their daily bread. How can these people afforded to hang out the whole day doing nothing?

I had been an entrepreneur since the age of 16 when I started singing and composing music in my native country of Anguilla. I moved to the US when I was 23 to continue my college education that I had started at the University of The West Indies in Barbados and Trinidad.

After I graduated, other things such as finding a secure job with a steady income took precedence over calypso singing. A job was important to raise a family and settle down. Thus, I decided to pursue dollar rather than calypso. This was in the early 1990s and the Internet was still at a nascent stage, but poised to be the next big thing. I soon found a good job in the upcoming field of Computer Network Engineering and started climbing the corporate ladder of success.

Reality hit home when my boss called me into his office one day and reprimanded me for sloppy work. How did that happen? That was my wake up call. Without even realizing, I had become mechanical about work and had been going through the rigmarole without giving anything a second thought. I realized that I had not earned an increment in my salary in years and had no enthusiasm left for work anymore. My whole personality and attitude had slipped away. I wasn’t doing what I wanted do. This wasn't the life I had imagined for myself. I wasn't myself anymore. I needed a new Vision, New Goals, and New Dreams!

I used the strategies from a Glazer-Kennedy Marketing conference to restart a defunct business that I had started in 2000, but had turned belly up after the dot com boom went bust. I worked part time at restoring that business and managed to turn it into a profitable venture in two years. Consequently, I quit my full time job and turned my part time job into full time work.

We all have our own unique stories to tell. By sharing my story with you, I want to help you start dreaming again. Only when, you dream, you will be able to reclaim your life. Life is precious. We all have just one life to live. Let’s make it the greatest!
