Also, people who are overweight will lost belly fat faster than thin people who have a bulging waistline.
Maintain a healthy diet. Eat foods that are high in fiber. They are good for you and they will leave you feeling full longer so you won't get as hungry between meals. As a result, you won't eat as much. Also, fiber is good for the digestive system. Healthy digestion is important for successful weight loss.
Drink plenty of water. This is also good for digestion. Also, it will help keep you feeling full and can help you eat less. Try to drink at least 8 glasses daily. If you find yourself hungry between meals, reach for a glass of water.
Eat six small meals throughout the day instead of 3 large ones. This will help speed up your metabolism. Also, you won't be as hungry before meals. It's better to sit at the meal table not feeling overly hungry. This way you will eat less during those meals.
Stick to your diet and exercise routine. Consistency is important in order to reduce fat around the waist. It is also a good idea to discuss your diet and exercise program with your physician to make sure that you are physically up for the task.
