Usana have gained recognition as one of the leading companies in the industry, having produced popular products for the last seventeen years.

Is there such a thing as a Usana scam?

No this is not the case. Many customers and top athletes are raving about their products. There are lots of new companies that appear with the latest juice and pill that will work miracles, but you find that most of them soon vanish. Obviously Usana is not one of these flash in the pan companies.

Most of Usanas distributors speak very highly of the company, even the ones that are not making a lot of money. No one can argue against the fact that the comp plan is very generous, with forty five cents of every dollar being paid back to the distributor network. They operate on a very robust binary system, while this wouldn't be my own personal choice of compensation plan; it has the potential to make the savvy network marketer rich.

Like most things in life, the binary system is open to abuse when it comes to recruiting. Because of the possibility of 'spillover' commissions, whereby you would receive a share of commissions from people you didn't even recruit, many distributors use this as an angle to recruit newbie's. Nothing bad about this, but you do need to have an equal volume on both sides of your organisation in order to get the spillover payments, this isn't always made clear. It's essential that you are actively recruiting yourself, if you are to make a profit from this system.

Usana have been credited with many awards and they are also in full agreement with FTC guidelines regarding the MLM industry. They have set a high standard in the network marketing industry that all should aspire to.

Unfortunately due to many of the pyramid and ponzi schemes that frequented the market place in previous years many people have developed scepticism to the term Multi Level Marketing. Often all companies are labelled as scams, which is not the case. Regardless of what people may say, Network marketing is still the number one way to build an income from home, even if someone does not have much business experience or money to invest, a solid business can still be built.

There still is and probably always will be, those who are out to rip people off for their own gain, our job as network marketers is to do business in an ethical fashion and strengthen the image of our industry.

When you look at all the facts, it should be obvious to anyone that Usana is not a scam or in any way shady, but a legitimate company. If you are considering joining Usana then you would be making a wise decision in my opinion. Don't forget though that you are getting involved with an already competitive market, and there are an increasing number of 'bunk' products that don't really deliver on their promises, but are there to extract cash from potential customers. Being able to stand out from the marketing noise out there, is your only way to ensure success with Usana
