With the global financial crisis right now, it is just amazing that you could still buy more with your money. Houses for example, have been observed to be priced cheaper than they were five years ago. Homes put in the market in Ahwatukee Foothills are no exception. In fact, many believe that with home prices going on nosedive nowadays, this is pretty much the best time to purchase a home.
We all dream to have a home we could call own. Pam Eagan who has been in the real estate business for several years now has clients who are taken with a five-bedroom home worth $1.2 million. But if that same house was put in the market five years ago, the home buyer would have to prepare at least $1.8 million and that is after tedious bidding.
John Lincoln, an Ahwatukee real estate salesman, says that there are several houses put on sale in the market. With over houses being sold, four of which are on short sale, people thinking of buying a home wouldn’t get disheartened by the prices. Most of the houses put on sale costs $1million and up.
Some are just plainly amazed at the prices of houses they begin to wonder if there’s been some mistake. Mike Mendoza observes that with houses priced $1.65 million now costs around nine hundred thousand and another house sold for that same amount five years before can now be bought at $1.35 million. Clearly with prices dropping this much, more people will be inclined to buy a house.
The market is swamped by houses in short sale nowadays. When a house is sold in a short sale, it means that it is priced relatively lower than how much the owner pays for mortgage. Even the price per square foot has dropped, much to the buyers’ delight. Before a square foot costs around $300. Now you can purchase a property with square foot costing a little over $200. It isn’t surprising though that most homeowners who placed their houses for sale in the market are either undergoing through a divorce or has business that isn’t doing quite well.
Ahwatukee Foothills provides different options of houses for sale, even for high-end homes. For Mark Ketring, there’s so much to do with money nowadays. There are also better options for houses built five years ago such as this ten thousand hectare-property originally built spending more than four million dollars five years ago. This house is said to be the most expensive in the area. But now that it is being sold in the market, it costs half a million dollar less than it was first built.
Pam Eagan however advises that even if home prices are dropping, those who want to purchase a property should have a stable high-earning job. She says that most of her clients have enough money to buy a house taking advantage for this moment that houses are sold this low.
So if you’d like to invest in a house, you better start looking now. You may look at Ahwatukee homes for sale and check if there’s a house that suits your needs. Ahwatukee real estate should also prepare for a series of queries they might be receiving regarding the houses sold in the area.
