Carlsbad may be a city that one would want to go to. And it is the city council that is making sure that it stays that way. And like in one of the meetings that has happened recently, much has been said and much has been talked about.
There are petitions that are filed to the city council for approval or for action from them. But before anything is done on the petitions, they still have to make sure that they discuss what is stated and discuss just what is the right thing to do. Now, this is very essential as a proper review and a proper deliberation could make or break the council and the city itself. One of the petitions that they had to work with recently was the home security systems that are offered to homes in Carlsbad.
Of course, home security systems are one of the top things that people are considering and are getting these days. This is because owners of homes and of properties need to make sure that what they have invested on is safe from those who may be thinking of stealing stuff from them. And with that in mind, the council of Carlsbad has been able to make a decision on the petition and they had given an OK sign to the request.
This request on home security systems was sent out by a company that sells such. They were requesting that the city council give them permission to sell such to owners of homes in the city.
There were discussions still on the matter and the members of the council were asking questions. They sure want to know what this is going to be all about and it is best to be on the safe side before going for a decision.
In the end, the council had favored Roswell, which is a security company. The company was asking the council to give them the approval that they can not only sell their home protection systems but they were also asking that they be given the approval to sell their products door to door.
Roswell was not the only security systems company that had the same request. APX Solutions also had one. And they were appealing. They even asked for a specific time to sell their products which was from 11am to 8pm. The city council was not moved though and decided to say no to the request. Only three members said yes to the request.
There was also an appeal for approval for an alcohol license. This was asked by a restaurant, Ray’s Grill. This establishment served Mexican food and was asking for a license to serve alcohol to their customers. This request was given an approval by the Carlsbad city council and so Ray’s Grill is now happily serving alcohol to its customers.
What the city council is doing is really important especially to those who have Carlsbad real estate and those who may be looking for Carlsbad homes for sale.
