If you are a big fan of Bakugan, then you should already know about the new wave of the Bakugan series. Bakugan is now on its third installment, and with this comes new Bakugan, new cards, new toys and accessories, new designs, and a whole new adventure! The new look and new sets of Bakugan just came out for the fans this March 2010.
The new sets of Bakugan figures and cards will be shown in color and animation through the third season of the animated tv series, the Bakugan Battle Brawlers: Gundalian Invaders. Yes, this is another adventure or our brawler heroes, minus some of the characters back in the first and second season. In the first season, we had Dan, Shun, Marucho, Runo, Julie, and Alice as the top brawlers of the six attributes fighting alongside the Bakugan. Then in the second season, the Bakugan Battle Brawlers: New Vestroia, only half of the team were among the six hailed heroes. Dan, Shun, and Marucho were transported to New Vestroia and teamed up with Mira, Ace, and Baron to be the heroic six.
In the third season, the Bakugan Battle Brawlers: Gundalian Invaders, three new heroes will be introduced again. Dan, Shun, and Marucho stays on with the main cast with newcomers Fabia, Jake, and Ren. It's also a new adventure for the brawlers as they will be involved in a war between Bakugan, a situation they were not really prepared for. Bakugan were meant for peace, yet there was a war brewing that pitched one race of Bakugan against another.
The third season is still ongoing. While the series airs with an episode out every week, the new sets of Bakugan figures and cards are also getting more and more amazing. The Gundalian Invaders Bakugan have cooler designs and higher G-power levels. Add to that the Bakugan Battle Gear and the Bakugan Super Assault, tis season has become the most exciting Bakugan series so far!
The Bakugan Battle Gear are the newest additions to the Bakugan merchandise. They act as support for the Core Bakugan, and they are wielded like weapons for more firepower in a battle. They are like the Bakugan Trap, able to be brought out and used to help the Core Bakugan in the brawl.
Tha Bakugan Super Assault is another addition to the new season, although it does not really differ much from the Bakugan Special Attack in the last season. Both have basically the same uses; either to change a Bakugan's attribute, or the G-power, or able to spin around or light up, and many more.
The third Bakugan season can also be called all-new (instead of just new) because the whole product line underwent a change in its theme and looks. Seasons 1 and 2 were all blue galactic and red. This season, however, Bakugan sports a black galactic look, with the packaging of the product lines all in black and red lettering. This has certainly given the new Bakugan a more mature and more powerful look. The new wave is still starting, and so we are assured that there will still be lots of amazing stuff to be uncovered in the Bakugan series as Bakugan season 3 goes on.
