The various technological advancements are easily found in the market today resulting in people forgetting that the personalized touch presented by a phone call is always welcomed. And if a phone call is not ideal for you, then there is no better way to add in a pinch of personal touch than by sending fax.
Even though you might have a handful of clients in the social circle, it is necessary to gain the attention of your clients so they would contact you again when their friends or relatives are planning to buy or sell their homes or similar properties. It would always be uncomfortable to call your past clients and ask them for real estate information.
Most real estate agents have a problem getting in touch with former or potential clients. There are many ways of making your presence known to them but you need to be more personalized in your approach.
If calling past or possible clients makes you uncomfortable, then try sending them a fax message. A fax machine is an equipment that converts electrical signals into transmission through telecommunication lines and is received and reconverted on the other end in black and white. To put it simply, a fax machine operates just like a photocopier machine, with the original copy remaining with the sender, while an exact replica, depending on the printing quality, reaches the receiver.
It is actually possible to initiate a real estate lead operation by sending a pre-prepared letter to your friends or past clients. Your letter would contain a standardized greeting and a general idea on what you are trying to express but you can alter its contents based on each individual. However, this depends on how familiar you are with the person you are sending the fax to.
Announcements in local newspapers are always a good thing to take note of. Congratulate a past client for getting the promotion or just say hi and thank them for doing business with you through simple fax messages. Almost every day, you can find publications as to who has won an award, who recently got promoted or who is having a baby, just about anything can be used to your advantage to send them a fax message. In all your fax messages, indicate a standard calling card data with your name, business address and even the services you offer.
